Staying at the Resort
Whether you’re planning a wedding, needing a relaxing beach getaway, or visiting for a retreat, the Hyatt’s prime location offers an unforgettable experience!
I stayed 5 days at the Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall while I attended a retreat in October 2019. Overall, I was highly impressed and satisfied with my stay. The staff was extremely friendly and always willing to lend a helping hand without asking.
Upon my arrival, I had little to no issue checking in right away with my reservation. I waited in the lobby area and was greeted with champagne and access to sweet treats and savory snacks. After receiving my room key, I was personally escorted and my bags were brought to my room.
Events & Parties
Throughout the day and night, you’ll find pool parties and dancing in the main area. There’s always something fun to do!
Food & Drinks
The food was also very delicious at most of the onsite restaurants. There is something for the adventurous eater and even the pickiest. When I had a sweet tooth, I enjoyed stopping at the candy shop to grab some sweet treats.
There are various restaurants that you have complete access to. Some require a reservation so simply ask the staff or stop by the restaurant to confirm. Personally, I was most interested in having Jamaican cuisine. However, I did try the Italian restaurant and a Japanese one. I was not a fan of either. I was happy to just stick with the local foods.
Also, as long as you stick to the menu, you do have access to alcoholic beverages as part of your all-inclusive package.
There are weddings almost every day! I’m well aware that Jamaica is a popular destination for weddings, however, there were so many weddings taking place around the resort, at times it was difficult to experience certain areas on the property due to it being blocked off.
This is great for you and your guest if you are there for a destination wedding. But for the rest of us attending the resort for leisure, it did become somewhat of a nuisance not being able to go to all areas of the property.
Housekeeping serviced the rooms multiple times throughout the day and even provided turn-down service. So nice! If I needed extra towels for the room, I could call down to the front desk or wait for housekeeping to stop by in the evening.
I stayed in a Double, 493 square foot suite with a courtyard view. Here are some of the pictures from my suite.
The room service is also really nice. Call down for a meal and it will be brought to you within the hour depending on the time of day. There is always something on the menu 24 hours a day. So if you get the munchies at 3 am, no worries, room service is available.
Do I Recommend The Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall?
